I initially considered the session in a rather open but shallow way. I thought perhaps it would be an opportunity to drop into my body and practice presence for a time. The process I was guided through ended up being much deeper and more impactful than I had initially anticipated journeying through deep layers of memory and emotion. We reached a place of pure love and tenderness for my young self and those members of my family involved in shaping him. I could see how old hurts still play roles in my life today and gained a moment of perspective which is incredibly valuable in healing these parts. I broke through from the almost overwhelming feeling of deep familial emotions into a landscape of greater lightness and ease in my day.
